Is it finally Leonardo DiCaprio's time in the Oscar sun?! Has the moment that fans have been anxiously waiting for finally arrived? If you saw the CNN segment on the making of the Oscar statues on Monday night or if you saw the above photo making the rounds on Twitter, then you certainly believe Leo will soon get his Academy Award. So, here's the story on this situation…
Monday night, CNN anchor Ted Rowlands took viewers on a tour of the Chicago factory responsible for those pretty gold naked statues given out at the Oscars. At the end of the segment, a nameplate meant for the bottom of the Oscar was shown, and lo and behold, it had Leo's name on it.
The engraved plate reads: "Academy Award to Leonardo DiCaprio/ Best Performance by an Actor in a Leading Role/ 'The Wolf of Wall Street'/ 2013." The segment ended quickly after that, leading viewers to beli... Read more »
Is Katy Perry now regretting what aired yesterday?
The pop star was tapped to sing the classic "Yesterday" on the CBS special The Beatles: The Night That Changed America—A Grammy Salute, and though she seemingly did the song justice, she rubbed some Fab Four fans the wrong way.
Well, for starters, there's a contingent out there that can't stand when an artist changes the line "suddenly, I'm not half the man I used to be" to "I'm not half the girl I used to be"—a change-up that happens pretty much every time a woman covers the Lennon-McCartney classic.
"Seriously pissed off that Katy Perry changed the lyrics to Yesterday," tweeted @homozarry. "It's disrespectful to pay a tribute and change their lyrics."
"I used to like Katy Perry. Right up until the moment she destroyed 'Yesterday' #Beatles50," tweeted concerned viewer Dave La... Read more »
Hayden Panettiere and Fiancé Wladimir Klitschko Are Calling Nashville Home
She was born in New York, but Nashville star Hayden Panettiere is becoming a down-home country girl.
The 24-year-old, who's engaged to boxer Wladimir Klitschko, is buying a home in Tennessee.
While a lot of her fellow cast and crew were buying homes in Nashville "pretty immediately" after the show began shooting, Panettiere tells PEOPLE that she wanted to take her time.
"That's a big investment and a big commitment for something [like a TV show] that can be very fleeting," she explained at the CMT Artist of the Year awards on Tuesday.
"But after a year and a half of living here, I felt that I had enough personal investment here, that I want to have a grounding here, even if something happens to the show. Knock on wood it won't! But I have amazing friends here and this just feels good as a home base.... Read more »

Katy Perry is doing her part for underprivileged youth as the "Unconditionally" singer was named a UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador at an event Tuesday in New York City.
Perry will take up the task of engaging young people in UNICEF's work to improve the lives of the globe's most vulnerable children and teenagers. "I am honored to join UNICEF as a Goodwiil Ambassador, and committed to doing everything I can to help children and adolescents who come from such different backgrounds but want the same thing: a brighter future."
Amy Adams Doesn't Get Why People Mistake Her for Isla Fisher
Nope, Amy Adams is not married to Sacha Baron Cohen. That's Isla Fisher.
And it's Fisher in Wedding Crashers, not Amy Adams.
While it seems perfectly reasonable to mix up the two redheaded bombshells – they have a similar look, they're two years apart in age – Adams is 39 and Fisher is 37 – and an inch apart in height – Adams says she doesn't understand why there's any confusion.
"I get Isla Fisher all the time, still. And I know Isla, and for a while our kids went to the same dance school. When I'm with Isla, we both look at one another and … I get it but I don't get it," the actress tells Vanity Fair in their January cover story.
"But just like I tell her, it could be a lot worse. I could be mistaken for a lot worse people."
Here's a helpful hint: Adams is the one starring alongside Bradley Cooper and Christia... Read more »
