Does anyone not completely associate The Price Is Right with Bob Barker? Sure — the show's network for the past 40 years, CBS. A 40th anniversary special that aired Tuesday didn't include or invite Barker, though he hosted the show for 35 years and Price has filmed in a space called the Bob Barker Studio since 1998. Barker says CBS "chose to ignore me, which is fine." BARKER BURN. Begin the countdown until CBS's official apology and/or gesture of recompense.

If you shed a few tears watching the series finale of TNT's "The Closer," you weren't alone.
Sitting down to chat with me about her new supernatural horror flick "The Possession" last week (incidentally, the film came in number one at the box office over the weekend with more than $21 million in ticket sales), series star Kyra Sedgwick spoke briefly on the "emotional" end of the long-running crime drama, which ran for seven seasons and netted Segwick both a Golden Globe and an Emmy for her portrayal of former CIA interrogator Brenda Leigh Johnson.
"It was heartbreaking!" said the actress of the show's final episode. "I mean it really was, it was very boo-hooey."
Calling the last six episodes of the top-rated series "among our very best," Sedgwick believes the show's fans came away gratified by the earnestness with which they tr

Alec Baldwin is throwing punches in the Twitter ring once again. His latest target is country singer Hank Williams Jr., who vocalized anti-Obama sentiment at a Texas concert on Sunday.
"If Hank Williams Jr. wasn't such a pathetic, wheezing fossil, I'd have a talk with him,” Baldwin tweeted from his verified account on Tuesday.
"I think we need to call Hank Williams Jr what he is.... A broken-down, senile, racist coot,” he added.
The Twitter assault follows comments Williams Jr. reportedly made onstage between songs at the Stockyards Music Festival in Fort Worth.
