CMAs will be 'Blown Away' by Carrie Underwood in Music Video race Carrie Underwood is co-hosting the CMA Awards with Brad Paisley for the sixth year in a row, and she'll take home Music Video of the Year too. That's according to our predictors, who put her dramatic video for "Blown Away" at the head of the pack with 8/11 odds. She has never won the category before, but two of her competitors have. Taylor Swift won in 2009 for "Love Story." That year Swift swept the CMAs, also collecting prizes for Entertainer, Female Vocalist, and Album of the Year. She's a contender in all of those categories again this year, but in this race she contends for her featured work on Tim McGraw's "Highway Don't Care," which our predictors rank third with 13/2 odds. Miranda Lambert won in 2010 for "The House That Built Me." This year she's nominated for "Mama's Broken Heart," her fifth solo bid in the category, bu

Film Review: ‘The Square’ Re-edited with new footage since Sundance, Jehane Noujaim's documentary is a commendable yet limited account of post-Revolutionary Cairo. Back in January, when Sundance preemed Jehane Noujaim’s "The Square,” the documentary was considered the last word in chronicling the turbulence of post-Revolutionary Cairo. But with unrest and uncertainty continuing in Egypt, that version is now labeled a work in progress, and the filmmakers have an update, re-edited and longer by about eight minutes. Continuing to follow a group of activists as they rally against the undue powers of the Muslim Brotherhood and the Army, "The Square” understands that the Revolution itself is a work in progress, and while its immediacy means it, too, will soon be superseded, it stands as a vigorous, useful account.

Miley Cyrus Cuddles Up With Her Pups After Making Out With Benji Madden--See the Pics! Following a steamy make-out sesh with Benji Madden Thursday night at Hollywood hotspot Bootsy Bellows, the "Wrecking Ball" crooner laid low, cuddling up with her pups Saturday. "I'm so in love…best sleeping partners in the world," Miley posted on Instagram Saturday, along with a shot of her three dogs lounging on her bed atop a Chanel blanket. "I love waking up to this," she continued, posting another shot of one of her dogs' paws on her. Halloween night was far more eventful for the singer, who partied the night away with a big group of about 10 female friends (at first) at the Ciroc Vodka Halloween bash. After the Good Charlotte guitarist arrived though, things took a turn for the romantic. Benji and Miley hit it off, so much so that they were spotted making out, and left the club toge

Nelson Mandela jokes 'Is that me?' after seeing Idris Elba as the South African icon Nelson Mandela was amused by the elaborate makeup process a British actor went through to play him in a film based on his autobiography, the movie's producer said Saturday of a special screening for the former South African president last year. "Is that me?" Anant Singh, the South African producer of "Mandela: Long Walk to Freedom," recalled a smiling Mandela as saying when he saw a picture of actor Idris Elba as an elderly version of the man who spent 27 years in jail under white minority rule. After he was freed, Mandela led South Africa through a difficult transition to its first racially inclusive elections in 1994, a historic event that propelled him to the presidency and inspired many around the world. &nbs

Krrish 3: Film Review A masked avenger vanquishes bad guys in Bollywood musical billed as the third in a trilogy. No disclaimer flashes onscreen at the beginning of Krrish 3 stating that "cigarette smoking is injurious to health.” The Indian superhero movie is far too wholesome for that. This third film in a sci-fi trilogy following Koi … Mil Gaya (I Found Someone, 2003) and Krrish (2006) is billed as a family film, and its major marketing push has gone out across India and the diaspora to attract Diwali holiday crowds. But although a Diwali opening will propel Krrish 3’s fortunes to record revenues, only viewers with low standards will be impressed: Krrish 3 has a lot wrong with it that even super powers can’t save. &
