This particular project first caught attention as Kim Kardashian was cast in a supporting role, while others remarked at how much star Jurnee Smollett had grown up since Eve's Bayou. Director: Sally El Hosaini Stars: James Floyd, Elarica Gallacher, Fady Elsayed, Saïd Taghmaoui Sally El Hosaini's first feature has enjoyed a year-plus of buzz-building on the festival circuit, scooping up awards at Sundance Berlin and London's main festivals, OutFest and other queer-film festivals. The acting, direction, storytelling, and cinematography play equal parts in what could be a breakthrough release.

Though he isn't directing from his own screenplay -- those duties were left to Wentworth Miller, who was guided by the dark-hued hand of Erin Cressida Wilson -- Park has narrative and stylistic flourishes that are a custom fit for Nicole Kidman's art-house leanings.
