At some point in the future, I sense the horror films made by the Duplass brothers and their contemporaries will be worshiped by a larger set of the population. For now, they do just fine at film festivals and, apparently, on VOD. Some have laughed with Katie Aselton's second directorial outing (which was written by her husband, Mark Duplass, during a day trip that went awry), while others have dismissed it for not going far enough as a proto-feminist thriller.
