Director: Brian Helgeland Stars: Chadwick Boseman, T.R. Knight, Harrison Ford, Nicole Beharie Brian Helgeland excels with serious drama, especially as a screenwriter (L.A. Confidential and Mystic River come to mind), so I am looking forward to what he does with this landmark sports story as its writer/director. Directors: Måns Mårlind | Björn Stein Stars: Julianne Moore, Jonathan Rhys Meyers, Jeffrey DeMunn, Frances Conroy Despite the Moore-Meyers appeal, we understand this is a standard genre exercise that over-relies on creepy visuals (i.e. the way Meyers snaps his neck around in the trailer) and jarring sound design in order to provoke its audience. And if you thought this release came and went already, you aren't alone; in the U.S. the movie has sat on the shelf while it's been available everywhere else.
