Elaine Stritch is 'Still Here' in 'Shoot Me' poster -- Exclusive

For years in her one-woman show, Elaine Stritch sang Stephen Sondheim’s "I’m Still Here” from Follies. It became her signature number, a defiant anthem for a woman — "a lean, glaring lion of a woman,” The New York Times once wrote — who’s done it all, seen it all, and has absolutely no intention of going quietly.

Now 88 years old, the Tony-winner and three-time Emmy winner has finally slowed down a tad. (She "retired” last spring from her regular one-woman show at Manhattan’s Carlyle Hotel and moved back to Michigan, where she grew up.) But Chiemi Karasawa‘s documentary, Shoot Me, which premiered at the 2013 Tribeca Film Festival, captured the dame’s last year or so in the Big Apple. It’s extremely poignant and fun; you see Stritch from all angles, revealing that there’s not an inauthentic bone in her body.

Stritch has been promot ... Read more »

Divergent: Star Shailene Woodley Injured, Left With Scars

Shailene Woodley may have been injured while making Divergent, but she so doesn't care.

"I got to do some crazy stuff," she told me at Elle's Women in Hollywood gala, where she was honored with the Calvin Klein Collection Emerging Star Spotlight Award. "I got really hurt."

And she has the marks to prove it.

"I have a scar on my chest [and] a scar on my hip, but all good battle wounds," Woodley beamed. "It's so much fun! And they'll go away in like five years. The cool thing is I got to do some stunts and that never happens. I feel so cool about it."

She also got a few hernias. "It was partly my fault from the amount of stress," Woodley said.

While Woodley's name was often on the lists of potential actresses to play Anastasia Steele in the movie adaptation of Fifty Shades of Grey, she insists it was never an option. ... Read more »

Katharine McPhee Photographed Kissing Married Smash Director Michael Morris

Smash star Katharine McPhee has been photographed kissing a director for the canceled show, Michael Morris.

Both are married, though a source close to McPhee tells PEOPLE, "She and her husband are separated for over six months, since early this year. They haven't been living together."

McPhee, 29, is married to Nick Cokas, who is also her manager. Morris, 47, and his wife, Welcome to the Family actress Mary McCormack, have three young daughters together.

An agent for Morris and a rep for McCormack both declined to comment.

A source close to the couple, however, tells PEOPLE: "Mary adores her husband. If this is true, she would have been blindsided."

Adds the source: "She is the most devoted mother and wife."

Meanwhile, a rep for McPhee did not comment on her split from Cokas or what appears ... Read more »

Salma Hayek Shows Lots of Cleavage on Set of New Movie—See Her Boob-Baring Look

Well, hello there, Salma Hayek!

The gorgeous 47-year-old actress hit the set of her new film How to Make Love Like an Englishman in L.A. yesterday showing off lots of cleavage in a super-sexy look.

Hayek flaunted her boobylicious assets in a checkered black-and-white bra top under a white shirt that was tied at the waist and open to show her bosom. She completed her look with a black skirt, black boots, black hat and chic black sunglasses.

Also on set filming scenes was Hayek's costar Pierce Brosnan. The two were snapped filming scenes in a car together. How to Make Love Like an Englishman is a drama about a Cambridge poetry professor who begins to reevaluate his life.

Last week, Hayek stepped out in a much more conservative look that hid her signature cleavage (and any skin for that matter!). She atte ... Read more »

Former Sugar Ray Bandmates Suing Singer Mark McGrath

Two former members of Sugar Ray are suing Mark McGrath, accusing the band's frontman of a "series of self-serving and vindictive actions."

Murphy Karges and Stan Frazier, former bassist and drummer, respectively, for the alt-rock band, sued McGrath and Sugar Ray guitarist Rodney Sheppard, claiming McGrath bashed them on Twitter and cheated them out of money, as well as prevented them from rejoining the band, Courthouse News Service reports.

"Not content to simply misappropriate the Sugar Ray trademark by licensing it to a newly created shell corporation or unlawfully divert an additional 48 percent of the band's revenues into his own pocket, McGrath spent the last year engaging in a bitter campaign to destroy the personal and professional reputations of Frazier and Karges," the 29-page lawsuit states.

According to the lawsuit, McGrath ... Read more »

The Daily Treat: Bob Barker Pays Nearly $1 Million to Transport Elephants

One million dollars was the right price for Bob Barker.

The former The Price Is Right host gave nearly that much to transport three elephants from a zoo in Canada to the Performing Animal Welfare Society's (PAWS) sanctuary in San Andreas, Calif. On Monday, he was there to see them roam around in their new digs – all 2,000 acres of it.

According to Sacramento news station FOX 40, elephants Iringa, Thika and Toka were released with little cooperation from their former zoo. A Toronto City Council vote from two years ago, which was heavily lobbied by Barker, paved the way for them to "come on down" to California, The Sacramento Bee reported.

"I had a lump in my throat, I had tears in my eyes. I've discovered that the older I get, the easier I cry," Barker, 89, told FOX 40 from the grounds of the sanctuary, which also h ... Read more »

Producers Guild To Honor Chuck Lorre with Norman Lear Award

Chuck Lorre will receive the 2014 Norman Lear Achievement Award in Television from the Producers Guild of America at the PGA Awards on Jan. 19.

"In a TV landscape that often feels saturated with homogenized, interchangeable series, his distinctive voice and commitment to vivid, one-of-a-kind characters have made him one of the true mainstays of our weekly television schedule,” McCreary and De Luca said. "Lorre is the definition of an iconic comedy producer, and we are so pleased to honor him this year.”

Said Lorre: "Norman Lear is a legend in this business and one of comed ... Read more »
