Definitely curious about this drama because a) we love it when Slamdance movies get theatrical distribution, b) immortal rapper Jean Grae has a supporting role, and c) more than one review I've read noted how good the dialogue is. With comparisons to the excellent Medicine for Melancholy, director Neil Drumming's feature debut is being celebrated as an underdog release as well as a black film with a subtle hand when it comes to issues of race.
