What the trailer doesn't show you is to what degree Michael Cera is playing against his established nice-guy image in his collaboration with Sebastian Silva - one of two projects the star and director brought to Sundance this year (the other, Magic Magic, will be released later this year). Fans of loose, arty filmmaking should enjoy the trip (and even want to imitate it), while others might be frustrated at the lack of character/thematic development.
