Miller | Jeremy Newberger Stars: Morton Downey Jr., Gloria Allred, Michele Bachmann, Glenn Beck Morton Downey, Jr. first ruled the airwaves in the mid-1980s before creating one of the decade's most memorable TV shows - a blueprint for countless imitators that still glut the syndication circuit to this day. I'm unsure if Seth Kramer's documentary looks to humanize its subject, a man who manipulated the media and his audience alike until his final days, but I do hope it traces back to his roots as a songwriter; Downey Jr. had more moments than his controversial 80s heyday.
