No surprise the reviews are divided for Brian de Palma's remake of Alain Corneau's final film, Crime d'amour. The icy story is certainly not feminist, which is hard to reconcile as you watch Rachel McAdams and Noomi Rapace try to eat one another alive. So toggle off your ethics and enjoy, I guess.
