Remember when Twitter announced its Vine app a couple months ago? Standards-bucking indie distributor Oscilloscope Pictures took advantage of the media attention by announcing it would first release Todd Berger's apocalypse-by-brunchtime comedy in 6-second segments over the new technology. Surely it attracted more notice for Berger's highest-profile work to date, and since we can never get enough of end-of-the-world scenarios, we expect the film will reach a sizable audience in time. Bet you Berger is attached to a studio comedy by year's end.
