Jules Stewart -- yes, Kristen's mom -- makes her directorial debut after spending the first several decades of her career as a script supervisor (her TV credits are more impressive than her big-screen resume). Pre-Twilight Kristen was attached to the project, and we imagine her current handlers are happy their star isn't on the press beat talking about the story's "maze of drug addled-transvestite-criminal politics" -- but it sounds like a perfect transitional role given her post-Bella/post-Pattinson status.
