Spoiler Alert: We're about to dig into the biggest, most jaw-dropping moments from Thursday night's TV. If you haven't yet watched a particular show, and don't want to be spoiled, skip to the next!
Grey's Anatomy: Karev has been staying out late listening to his dad play each and every night at a bar before finally working up the nerve to talk to him. Turns out his dad has a second, entirely different family that he also abandoned, which caused Karev to promptly punch him in the face. Daddy issues anyone? Meanwhile Leah was blabbing her mouth that she and Arizona locked lips but her doting affection was shut down very quickly when Arizona clarified that it was just a one-time thing. Ouch! Too bad Arizona sent a booty text to Leah at the end of the episode, thus completely contradicting what she had said.
Meredith (Ellen Pompeo) has decided to continue on with her mother's research, but she has made it very clear that she does not want any of Cristina's (Sandra Oh) help whatsoever. She's still clearly super peeved at last week's "You're not a good surgeon anymore" comment. And in the land of the perfect relationship, Derek (Patrick Dempsey) revealed that he is going to be cutting back on his surgeries in order to spend more time with the kids and give Meredith some time to shine. They're so sweet, we're getting a cavity!
The Vampire Diaries: Welcome back Ripper Stefan (Paul Wesley)! In hopes of jogging his memory, Elena (Nina Dobrev) took it upon herself to remind Stefan of their good o'l days in season one when all they appeared to be were two lovestruck teens, blissfully unaware that the universe was actually pushing them together. Unfortunately, when Stefan was reminded that Elena left him for his very own brother, that news didn't sit too well and Ripper Stefan emerged once again. Sigh. Even with blood dripping down his face and rage in his eyes, Stefan still looks flawless.
Caroline (Candice Accola) revealed that her relationship with Tyler (Michael Trevino) is "on its death bed" which was perfect timing when newbie hottie Jesse (Kendrick Sampson) asked her out on a "study date" one thing lead to another and our Barbie Vamp was soon locking lips with the new college beau. Despite the fact that Caroline saved Jesse from a ravenous Stefan, her new love interest still ended up dead when Dr. Wes (Rick Cosnett) discovered that Jesse had vampire blood in his system and immediatly killed him. In Bonnie (Kat Graham) news, everyone finally found out that she was dead—and it was absolutely heartbreaking. To top it all off, Tyler returned. Phew! Did you get all that?!
Scandal: Fans were treated to oh-so adorable Harrison (Colombus Short) booty shake when the gladiators secured a new client. So who's image were they hoping to repair this week? Introducing Senator Richard Meyers a "pervy sexting pervy perv" who is being accused of killing one of his many dick-pic receiving gal pals. In a classic Scandal twist we learned that it wasn't actually the senator whom murdered the girl, but his very own perfect hair, pear-loving wife. And guess what? She got away with it!
Lisa Kudrow made her grand debt as Democratic Congresswoman Josephine Marcus, a woman who was outwardly shaming the President for his recent infidelity scandal, and advised him to "tame his cobra." Hah! Unfortunately Mellie (Bellamy Young) was caught talking smack on the "deep fried-Twinkie lover" when she didn't realize that her snarky comments were being said into a hot mic. Ruh Roh! All is well after a gracious apology and a little political dirt digging.
And after assuring Olivia that he won't leave her side, Jake (Scott Foley) and Miss. Pope she shared a sweet-turned-steamy kiss. And for the night's biggest shocker: Fitz (Tony Goldwyn) ended the night with an impromptu meeting with a very twisted man: Olivia's father.
Line of the Night: Big Bang Theory's Penny gave us a gem of a line tonight—"Just you wait and see. I'm gonna romance your freaking ass off!"—when she was promising to do something nice for her nerdy beau Leonard. Oh and a a Hulk-sized congrats to Sheldon for discovering a new element on tonight's episode. Even if it was just a complete and total accident…
